Firsts-2019-Back to Writing - Haiku

Once more it’s morning
New day waits, untouched, unseen
Can there be rainbows?
©️amf-20190927

Dawn’s gold fingers touch
The hem of darkness’ raiment …
Which will flood the day?
©️amf-20190927

Rainbows are not planned
They ride the heavens at will
I seek them in vain
©️amf-20190927

Wrestling with barely controlled pain …

If pains’ a warning
reminding, and repeating …
Where is the re-set? ©️amf-20190927

Trying to navigate new experiences …

How does “I love you!”
Morph to  “I’m in love with you?”
Unexpected gift! ©️amf20191003

On hearing from Lois H about Susan Huffman’s heart crisis … 20191003 – Melbourne time

Studying all night.
Assignment work done our way … (Susan and Tony)
Not like Ted and Shirl! ©️amf20191003

Heart pains, fears arise
Codes called, mortality hits
Hands held, their lives, strength!     (Ted and Susan – referencing Ted’s Blog ©️amf20191003
So softly falling
I missed the gentle raining
A gift from silence

I know we need it
But others are desperate …
Perhaps we can share

At the water – Tooradin – VERY windy - 20191006

Wind gusts assert strength
Mangroves stand clear of the tide
Arm crutch earns its keep! ©️amf20191006

Wind strong in my face
Intensity increasing
Refreshing my soul!
©️amf20191006

We came here often …
with our hopes, dreams and darkness.

Wind transforms to light!                     ©️amf20191006
